I AM KIM TRAPP, A MANAGEMENT AND SELF-MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT AND A DESIGNER OF THE CONDITIONS FOR EFFECTIVE AND SUSTAINABLE COOPERATION. I AM  BY NATURE A KIND OF BROKER OR BRIDGE BUILDER. I FEEL THAT THIS IS IN MY DNA AND I CAN HELP BUILD A COMMON UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN DIFFERENT PARTIES.

WHO?

Why do I want to do this particular work, why is this important and relevant to me?

A better future
We always have the opportunity to go in a better direction, it’s up to us, each together and separately. I feel that this job is the best way for me to be a part of living in an ever better world. In this work, I have the opportunity to help Finnish organizations succeed even more in a way that is sustainable for all stakeholders.

Involved in change
Now is the most exciting time to be a part of the change facing organizations. So many things like leadership and organization are now in transition and most organizations are looking for new ways.

WHY?

In what ways do I believe I will get the best impression and the most satisfied customers? What are my strengths?

Presence
In customer work as a consultant, it is important to be able to create a space where it is safe to try new ideas and ways of working. This security and presence are my strengths, the emergence of which is supported by both a calm nature and education, for example through the Human Meet Mentor program.

Open and curious
By being constantly open and curious about different opportunities, I am able to help my clients create options and choices. Studies of systemicity as well as living with complexity, e.g., Human System Dynamics Practitioner training, have given me the tools to study and identify phenomena affecting different organizations in the world.

A safe challenger
Sometimes you have to go to familiar and safe boundaries when considering what will be useful in the future. Usually, nothing new is born of the old ways of working. Systemic Business Coach training and Narrative Coaching studies have given me the tools to bring the client to the limit where the prevailing stories become questionable and a new story begins to take shape.

HOW?

What do I offer customers?

Coaching and team sparring
Renewal, enthusiasm, clarification, peace of mind, and increased self-confidence for leaders, supervisors, and teams. Coaching individuals, teams and groups creates an opportunity for internal development and provides a mirror for evaluating one’s own actions. Management team sparring, support for the successful start-up of a new team or the renewal of an experienced team’s working methods.

Facilitating constructive discussions
Increasing common understanding, finding a common direction, renewing by taking advantage of differences, and learning to live with different tensions. Facilitating discussions within the organization so that the discussions become constructive and operational. Leveraging the chat process, the Howspace digital platform brings numerous benefits. The topics can be the promotion of strategic projects as well as the release of various tensions.

Joint development of new practices
Deepening internal and external cooperation. Most of the development work of organizations takes place through the cooperation of various parties. This is not limited to new business solutions, but also applies to more permanent structures such as management and organization. Leadership is more and more everyone’s business, as is self-leadership. It is therefore necessary to look at the relationship between those in different roles and positions, and what management aims at and means in each situation.
